A well-researched and solid biography that tells the story of Kurt Cobain’s rise and fall.
The book takes us through Cobain’s life, detailing his early childhood and rise to fame, and ending with the author’s interpretation of what may have happened during Cobain’s final hours.
The author, Charles Cross, heavily reasearched the subject matter, interviewing dozens of people who knew and worked with Cobain.
The book also includes a glossy insert of various photos, chronologically ordered, including one of the last known photos of Cobain.
Though the writing style is cheesy at times, and some of the stories seem a bit far-fetched, ‘Heavier Than Heaven’ is likely the definitive Kurt Cobain biography.
