The music video for Lithium features the band in their onstage environment, demonstrating their explosive live performances.
Essentially a collage of clips from various live shows, the video features footage from a homecoming show in Seattle as well as the bands` European tour in 1991.
The video was originally envisioned as an animated short about a girl who lives in a house in the forest - she finds some eggs and attempts to deliver them to a king, who ends up breaking them when he awakens from a slumber.
One highlight of the video shows Cobain hurtling towards the drumset at the Reading Festival in 1991, resulting in a dislocated shoulder. This foootage, along with more from the same tour with Sonic Youth can be found on the video entitled 1991 The Year Punk Broke
