The long awaited DVD version of Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged performance, Unplugged In New York, will finally be relased in North America on November 20th, 2007.
The original CD version of this performance was the first Nirvana release following Cobain’s death in April of 1994.
The DVD version features the entire uncut perfomance from November 18th, 1993, including Oh Me and Something In The Way - two songs that were omitted from the original broadcast. The DVD also features a 5.1 surround sound mix of the performance.
Bonus features include 5 songs from the band’s rehearsal, and MTV’s Bare Witness documentary featuring behind the scenes footage with band interviews.
