Studio Where Nirvana Recorded ‘Polly’ Hit By Truck

An hour after Butch Vig and Shirley Manson of Garbage left Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconson, a 10 tonne truck smashed into the recording facility causing over $50,000 in damage. Vig is best known for producing the Smashing Pumpkins ‘Siamese Dream’ and Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’.
